Join a well known major player in the lighting industry as one of their key business development managers here in Melbourne. On offer for this role is a base salary of $110,00-$120,000, car allowance, superannuation and a lucrative incentive structure. Base salary can be negotiated higher for the right candidate based on experience. Full training and support will be provided to ensure you are successful in this role.
Working autonomously reporting to the National Sales Manager your aim will be to manage and grow relationships with engineers, architects and designers in order to secure specification on major commercial projects across all of Victoria. You will also be responsible for specifying medium to large commercial projects in the commercial, education, healthcare, retail, hospitality and multi-residential markets. It is of great value to have existing and lasting relationships with architects and designers that can be leveraged in order to secure new business. Your ability to manage and drive key internal stakeholders and discover new opportunities will be most welcomed by my client.
My client is a major player within the lighting industry with a presence across Australia in all major states. They specialise in a variety of LED lighting and electrical products across the wholesale and commercial markets. They operate at the forefront of lighting technology and are expanding their business into the project space on a National level. My client is looking for a senior business developer that can hit the ground running in the project space. They enjoy a market dominance and employ only the best in the industry.
You are an energetic self starter with a passion for sales and willingness to achieve. You will have technical lighting and specification experience working in a similar role or an industry closely aligned with my client. You will have experience dealing with and managing architects and designers through project specification. Having existing relationships within the commercial lighting sector are a must in order to be considered for the role. The opportunity to build and exploit my client’s existing client base would be most welcomed. You will need to be a relationship builder and possess excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail.
