My client, in operation for 15 years and with offices across the globe, has identified Australia as the next frontier for its business platform and, as such, is looking for a National Sales Director to head up its Australian operation.
My client is an expert at offering an enterprise platform for integrating APIs, applications, and web services both locally and across the Internet. They have partnerships with some of the largest tech and financial organisations in the world, connecting databases and partnering with their channels.
My client is looking for a leader, a driven, proven sales expert who has a strong history in not only performing on a personal level but being responsible for achieving team budgets and performance. Whilst the Australian team is in its infancy, the immediate responsibility is for you to use your existing network to identify and close qualified opportunities, maintain and grow your sales pipeline and familiarise yourself with my client’s vast market offering, whilst motivating, managing and growing sales from the existing sales team. You will foster and nurture the team, working with them to qualify sales leads they produce, demonstrating and adhering to company guidelines whilst growing my client’s exposure and company profile in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
You will be in a similar field to my client, either in a key account management or business development management role and you will be looking for the next step in your career. You will be a leader, an expert in your field and you will have the want and desire to make a significant difference to those around you. You will ideally have a Bachelor’s degree, however those with a suitable background will not be discounted without this. You will have 5+ years in sales to SMEs and you will have experience in leading, managing and growing sales teams. You will have experience with C-Level executives, driving new opportunities from your direct reports.
On offer for this role is a base salary of $185,000 + Super. A bonus structure calculated on personal performance, overall team performance and profitability is also in place.
